People take to the streets all over Belarus protesting against last Sunday's presidential vote, rejected as neither free nor fair and demanding President Lukashenko's resignation. Seeing police brutality against peaceful protesters has shocked Belarusians. And it is very dangerous for journalists to report about these brutal attacks. We had the chance to talk to Hanna Liubakova, a Belarus investigative journalist for the democratic website outride.rs and a fellow of World Press Institute, who is courageously reporting on social media about the protests which are unprecedented in their scale in Belarus. She told us how important international solidarity is for #BelarusProtests.
