Genuine and phony aristocracy, any amount of money and the eternal battle of the sexes. Those are the ingredients of Leo Fall's "Dollar Princess". The Austrian composer - a successful exponent of the "Silver Age of Operetta" already knew, as far back as 1907, what really stirs the human soul, and for that purpose he created some jaunty melodies and blissful waltz tunes.
